COSTS
We prefer
to use priority mail from the post office for mailing packages within the US. This
allows packages to get to you usually in 2 days, for about the same price as
UPS 3 day delivery. Priority mail is particularly cost effective for those
who live far from the west coast.
We charge no sales tax to non-california residents.
INSURANCE
/ RETURN RECEIPT SERVICE
Using return
receipt service when shipping via the post office guarantees that your package
will only be left with you or someone at your mailing address who signs for
it. If return receipt service is not included, and you are not home, the packege
will be left wherever the mailman feels is appropriate. Depending on where you
live, this could result in your order getting stolen or damaged!
Insuring
your package guarantees that your order will arrive in good condition. If
your items are lost or damaged in shipping, the post office will pay for them
to be replaced. If you
choose not to use insurance or return receipt service, note that we accept no
responsibilty for lost or damaged packages

your zip code, our zip code (92104), and the weight (package weights average
0.5 pounds for each record, cd, and tape. for example, a box with 5 records
weighs about 2.5 pounds). We add to these shipping costs an additional $1.50
handling charge for priority mail shipments, and $2.00 for parcel post or UPS
shipments
